.How do I claim a repatriation deposit refund?
As an internal control measure the Department will no longer accept a copy of a receipt or an affidavit as source documents for payments, only original receipts will be accepted as proof of payment. This arrangement is now applicable with immediate effect and relates to all claims lodged or to be lodged in the future.
The processing period of refunds will take approximately five working days to process refunds. Only original receipts will be accepted. No exceptions.
