South Africa welcomes North Korea Disarmament Agreement
13 February, 2007 Cape Town - South African Foreign Minister Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, today Tuesday 13 February 2007, welcomed the reported agreement regarding North Korea reached on Monday in Beijing, China. "South Africa welcomes the developments in this regard following negotiations in the Six Party Talks and looks forward to the implementation of the terms of the agreement by all parties involved," said Minister Dlamini Zuma. "The agreement to eliminate nuclear weapons is a step in the right direction which will indeed contribute substantially to the denuclearisation of the region and making the world a safer place," concluded Minister Dlamini Zuma.
