Authentication of documents
“Customers requiring authentication of documents should present themselves in person together with a valid identity document at the South African Embassy in Washington DC” OR “Customers requiring authentication of documents who are not in a position to personally visit the South African Embassy in Washington DC are expected to go to a Public Notary, then to a County Clerk and finally to the US State Department. Thereafter, they should post the documents to the South African Embassy in Washington DC with evidence that the Public Notary, County Clerk and the US State Department have satisfied themselves of the processes after which the Embassy will authenticate it. Although this service is free of any charges, it is the customer’s responsibility to also include a money order to cover the cost of delivery/return by courier.” |
