INVESTIGATION ON ALLEGED FROZEN BANK ACCOUNTS LINKED TO SEPTEMBER 11 INCIDENT IN THE USA

According to information available to the South African Police Service at this point in time, we wish to state that there is no transaction or account that is linked to the September 11 incident in the USA or A1-Qaeda Organisation or Osama bin-Laden and as a result no account has been frozen.

As the SAPS Management, we wish to reiterate that intensive investigations would be conducted in case new information, allegations or enquiries are received in this regard.
